Not sure if any of you are waiting for the second step process of the ultimate nginx box, but I lost my files when my computer decided to randomly reboot.
I will be working on them this week again along with a client account I am setting up.

Hello Guys,
Sorry about that, I was having an issue with the load balancer setup I was running redirecting the traffic wrong, so in the end I ended up just disabling the load balancer as it was only a test.
So now it's back, and I need to get working on my other site. So much for having it ready this month.
In other news, I have been buying games like crazy off Steam.
We are now load balanced.

As of right now, we are now load balanced. The site might be notably faster, although it's running off of the same MySQL server for now.

Been a Busy Week.

Well, it's been a busy week for me and my life. Haven't been doing anything but work, sleep, etc. I am going to hopefully finish up the load balancing setup today, and then I can continue work on the new brandonlong.me.
So, if the sites goes down for a period it's just me testing.

We have moved.
Hello Folks,
We are now on a CentOS Based VPS again, running Apache with PHP5 once again. This is due to the rapid development of my new site and the fact that I like CentOS better (:.
We are using Apache because of subversion control, and we will be setting up a bug tracker in the near future to track bugs on the new site, that will be up and running again tomorrow.
As always if there are any problems feel free to let us know.

Where are the updates?

As you can see, I haven't been updating this website very much, and for a good reason. I am starting work on my own custom CMS platform for the site, and it's development is under way. I estimate this to be ready in January, or at least I can hope I will be rolling out a public beta to go live on the site, so we'll see. Happy Thanksgiving
Hello Folks,
Just been busy lately, thought I would say Happy Thanksgiving to everybody. Over here doing support on x10, and it's sorta slow today. Everyone is buying hosting though, so, expect some downtime, tomorrow should be better with it being Black Friday and all; we'll see.
I think I am going to start updating the blog every day from now on, see if I can't make something out of this.

Well folks,
My days of working at the old garage are coming to a narrow end, I decided it wasn't how I wanted to live my life and am going to look for another career. I am thinking of going back to college, but until then I am going to start working at the old Market Basket again until I can figure out what I want to do.
Should be fun!

Been Busy
Well Folks,
I have been busy this past week, I ended up blowing the motor in my Jeep last weekend, so I have been installing a new motor all week, finally got it installed Friday night, but I had a slight misfire on CYL 3, some seafoam and a few hundred miles of hard driving cleared it right up, and the motor seems to be running like a jem. Now all I need to do is replace both my engine mounts and my tranny mount and I hope to loose my vibration at idle -- or we hope too.
Once I get some more cash put aside, I am going to tackle that, along with changing my transfer case fluid and doing a tranny fluid change and a filter (fluid is dark, so I am going to do a filter and change it a few times over the course of a few thousand miles to get it nice and red again).
This week I will be doing some more work on x10Hosting for the new Prime Membership, I am going to be integrating the colored thread highlighting into the search function on the forums, which looks to be harder than it sounds, so that'll be some fun.
